Hi, I'm Amy Sain. I am a graduate of the University of North Alabama with a Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I do not have one specific moment that made me realize I would like to become a counselor, rather it is the culmination of many of my life and work experiences. We all at times experience difficult circumstances that can lead to mental and emotional struggles. As such, I know firsthand the importance of helping others gain a fresh perspective and healthy coping mechanisms while dealing with life's challenges.
I have a passion for helping people find purpose and live the full life God intended for them as I seek to understand, encourage, and support. I have experience responding to crisis pregnancy and the challenges of the post-partum period and adjustment of becoming a mom. Additionally, I have also worked with individuals struggling with substance abuse and various other emotional disorders. I enjoy helping people overcome anxiety, depression, relational conflict, and boundary setting difficulties. I would love to assist you on your journey to wholeness and wellness.
