ServicesWe offer evaluations and individualized treatment plans for the following areas:
Speech Sound Disorders
Speech Sound Disorders (SSDs) include any difficulty or combination of difficulties with perception, motor production, or phonological representation of speech sounds and speech segments. These disorders can affect a child’s ability to communicate with the people around them, read, and write.
Language Disorders
Language disorders can include difficulty with understanding or the ability to produce spoken or written language adequately. Intervention in these areas can help children effectively communicate as well as increase language-based academic performance and social skills.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication/Communication Devices
Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) refers to any resources used to supplement or compensate for impairments in speech-language production and/or comprehension. We offer evaluations and communication device trials, client and parent training, device programming, and insurance requests related to these devices.
Early Intervention
Early intervention helps to identify and target communication deficits while the child is still very young. This ensures the best therapy outcomes and helps prevent the child from falling behind their same-age peers in developmental skills as they age. We strive to provide evaluations and interventions that are family-centered, developmentally supportive, and evidence-based.
