Andrea is passionate about helping others. This passion initially drew her toward the field of counseling, where she earned her M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Lee University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, she has worked with a wide range of clients, from children to the geriatric population. The challenges differ for each person, but the commonality is that Andrea works to be each person’s advocate, encourager, and supporter.
Compassion and empathy are two personal strengths which help her effectiveness as a counselor. The needs of the client steer her to find the best individualized therapeutic approach. Andrea’s goal is to provide an environment where people feel safe to share their own story and are able to find hope for their future.
As a wife and homeschool mom to three (adopted and biological) children, Andrea stays busy! She enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and traveling- with a special affinity for Yosemite National Park.
