The Word of God tells us that “God comforts us in our troubles to that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” It is this comfort given to Anna during difficult times in her life that inspired her to pursue a career in counseling. Anna has 15 years of experience working with diverse populations both in inpatient and outpatient settings. Anna enjoys sharing new skills to deal with anxiety, depression, grief, relational conflict and boundary setting. When life leaves us with more questions than answers, it is helpful to have someone who is willing to come alongside us for support and encouragement.
Anna received a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Alabama. Anna is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with certification for Private Independent Practice (LICSW-PIP). In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with family and reading.
