Navigating life in a fallen world can be very challenging. From relationship failures to losing a loved one, these unavoidable life events can produce emotional struggles that include anxiety, depression, prolonged stress, loneliness, and unhealthy coping skills.
As a licensed therapist for more than twenty-five years, she has walked with thousands of clients through these struggles. As a skilled and compassionate listener, Sue focuses on building a strong relationship with her clients to aid them in recognizing their uniqueness and their most effective path to healing.
Sue earned a Bachelor of Social Work from The University of North Alabama. After working for a few years as an undergraduate Social Worker, she felt called to pursue a career in counseling. She then obtained a Master of Education degree in Agency Counseling from The University of Montevallo.
Throughout her career, she has worked with all ages in various settings. With a wealth of experience, a strong faith and a passion for seeing people gain freedom, Sue provides an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance in each Counseling session.
