The Blue Relationships
Dolphin + Dolphin
Bodacious Blue
When in tune, this pairing is truly BODACIOUS. Fun is the name of the game. Dolphins are all about being fun loving and being liked by others. They are bubbly and full of life and full of words. Alone, each of these people would be the life of the party…put two Dolphins together, and they are the party. People skills and socializing are the cornerstones of this pairing. At work and in life this pair can think outside the box and come up with very creative ideas of how to do things. Multi-tasking is easy for them (if it is stimulating enough for them). Two Dolphins can work very well together and are sure to keep things lively. They can brainstorm and are typically able to elicit ideas from others.
Bold Blue
When dissonant, this pairing is too BOLD for many. This high octane combination can struggle to stay focused and may be easily distracted, never following through with tasks. They are likely to have great fun together but their external abstract processing and fun loving nature means they are likely to not only get distracted but also be a tremendous distraction for others. They struggle to have a filter and may say almost anything to get a laugh. This may lead to hurt feelings since they are also very sensitive. They are also happy to be in the spotlight so that spotlight may be a little small for both. Dolphins are fun-loving and playful, which again makes for a fun pairing; however, when they feel criticized or rejected they may quickly spew water at you via irrational and/or hurtful statements. Therefore, conflicts may escalate quickly but since they are not good at addressing conflict, they may struggle to effectively resolve the conflict.
Things to Remember:
Temper your energy and keep your focus, also be mindful of your filter so that you don’t say hurtful things that may cause damage to the relationship. A Dolphin’s tendency is to lose focus and leave a task uncompleted if it isn’t stimulating enough, especially when two Dolphins are together; therefore, make it a point to complete tasks.
